I've Just sat don, played 1 hand with villain where I had QQ in sb, it was folded round I raised and bet around 3/4 on every street with my overpair and he called the whole way with second pair (QTo)

UTG - Hero (12.15)
CO ($10)
BTN ($13.93)
SB ($6.97)
BB ($10)

Hero is Dealt Qc,Qs

Preflop ($0.15)
Hero raises to $0.30, CO raises to $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO raises to $2.50, 1 fold, Hero?

Do you think these stupid min raises means AA or what? Both times he snap raised.

Once you 4-bet, you should already know what you're doing, since you only have 1 choice.

Yes but does the min 5bet not change things?
Here are your choices:

[ ] You've 4-bet, you have QQ, you're committed to go all in.
[ ] You've 4-bet, you have QQ, you're committed to go all in.

I lied earlier. I said you had only one choice. Clearly, you have 6 choices now.

Lol ok ok.

But can you please explain this. I mean say in another situation you are against an opponent who you know 3bets light, yet you have never seen them 5bet all in with anything other than AA/KK. You have QQ, you raise and they 3bet you, you 4bet because you're well ahead of their range but then when they 5bet you all in, their range has changed and you know if you call you will almost certainly be a 4 to 1 dog.

How often are you seeing these guys 5-bet? You'll just never have a reasonable sample size here to know what their 5-bet range is, especially if they're adjusting to you. But really, this is just a chart scenario. You look at his 3-bet percentage, you look at the chart, you look at your hand, you act accordingly. This spot is solved.

You can find the chart here.

Yea I was just using a hypothetical scenario. I guess unless you have such a big sample you can never know that they only 5bet with just AA/KK. Point taken

assuming a 10NL players 5b range is AA/KK/AK is generally a good plan.

however im just 4betting here (not AI) and letting him 5b shove or call and spew post. you need to assume youre good here esp since you close to stacked him the last hand

If you 4 bet to $2 then his min raise is to $3.50, I would just shove over that and take the value when he folds his air or spews.

As played I would flat to try and get more value from his air range KJ etc.

If he has aces so be it... we're going to flop quads anyway.
