Do you call a 3bet with a hand like this IP? Only 6 hands on my opponent (and he's played 0/6; bought in for full amount but no auto-rebuy).

Merge - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: $9.42
MP: $10.57
CO: $10.30
Hero (BTN): $10.00
SB: $9.75
BB: $10.00

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has J Q

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, SB raises to $1.00, fold, Hero ??

Vs. someone on the unknown/nitty side I'd fold. If you have a read it's a pretty aggro reg with a high 3-bet I'd call.

I would just fold this preflop and don't about it too much.

In fact I would have to have a pretty good read on someone and position as well to call 10% of my stack preflop with QJs.

I pretty much agree with a fold unless you have strong reads and/or a lot of history with villain.

If effective stacks are deeper though, like 200bb+ then I am more inclined to call even against an unknown for the implied odds.

why are we folding pre? I feel like this is a standard raise/fold hand.

I think they meant fold pre to the 3bet

Fold pre without any info on the opponent. Generally a fold versus most players assuming 100bb stacks or less.
