I think you played it okay really, i like the flop bet and turn bet is fine although you can probably bet bigger like $2.25 just because of the board. I expect you to be good here a lot of the time, villain probably shows AT or KT type of hands a lot when he does that silly block bet on the river. I probably put him all in on the river myself, i think that's the better play as he has little left in his stack and will probably call with T9,AT,KT considering he's probably terrible. He might occasionally show up with a Q and we value own ourselves but most of the moneys already in and it doesn't make much sense to donk out $0.30 with trips really...

I'm ok w play till river

Don't leave $$ on the table- shove the remainder of his stack in.

I don't think his river bet (or action till then really) looks like a queen at all, and theere are a ton of marginal hands that he'll stack off river on just cause he's committed.

I think much more often than not you're ahead here-get value

Played fine i'd say but that's because I had KK play out almost exactly like this a few days ago. When i thought the board pairing on the river had killed me it actually saved me as they'd flopped bottom 2 pair.

Interested to see others opinions on the hand as the only play I made different was a slightly smaller bet on the flop(about 3/4pot). And their river bet was about 1/3 pot!

^ betting bigger is definitely the best play. So is shoving the rest in on the river imo. We beat too many hands that bad players will just call thinking we're bluffing or most likely they aren't even thinking and just want to win so call.

I can understand that betting bigger on the flop can be a better play but I really don't like shoving the river. I had no stats on villain as had only been at the table a few hands so really didn't know how bad they actually turned out to be(lost almost 4 bi in an hour before ranting that 'jokerstars is rigged' and swiftly making it to my buddy list)and i've been slow played and sucked out on way too many times to want to risk it on this sort of board! But that's just me, maybe playing scared after some bad beats!

You're missing out on too much value by not shoving the river and he can't resist calling getting like 4-1.

Of course he does. He has slightly over $2 by then..pot around $7 before hero raise.

Any ten, any 9 likely see 2nd q as a good card and call a very good % of the time w/those odds.

His 5%psb donkbet/blocker on the river should make it pretty obvious he's a bad player-take advantage. Ez shove imo
