Q: Correct analysis?

When Q hitted I decided to turn hand to 2 streets value, the problem is that SB most likely is a fish so I could be value betting. First hand against him though.

We have to give him fish status given 2x raise from SB, OTT he will call worse: {99, KTs, QTs, JTs, Ac9c-, KTo, QTo, JTo, QTs-Q7s} 44 combos

He has full houses that raise 2x pre {}, not a single hand, logical hands at least.

He on rare occasions can have slow played premium hand, but not really that often hero needs to think about it. So last chance to get the money in is OTR even though Q9 got there.

I'm going for three streets here with a big bet on turn. If a club falls on the river though it might become very thin as you don't have clubs in your hands, I think I would check the river.

We can't put him on JJ-KK, and if he has any Qx, we can stack him surely.

I probably would play it the same way as you and call on the river although QJ and QK are definitely in his range and if he had it then that's probably how he'd play the hand.

By betting pot on turn you open yourself up to a bigger commitment to the hand which he would mostly only call/raise with the a full house. Ilike the check but that's just my style.

@KFlint Do you check-call river if a club comes on the riv after a big bet on turn?

I think I'd go for 3 streets here. Especially because you hit this board super hard with your value-range, so you are betting with almost your entier range on the flop here. since he will call off his QT, KT, maybe KJ and JT (depending on fishy villain is). eventhough I don't think (being villain) calling QT KT and JT are bad calls since you have the T wich blocks the straight Hero might have. So I think these are pretty good bluffcatchers. again because you bet almost your entier range on the flop

(correct me if I'm wrong on this one)

Played well

Although this is 1st hand and you are basing your read on him on 1 bet I like the way you played this hand and I call the river .

I think no matter what you do flop turn river if he has 2 pair or set or flush draw he plays the same and you lose the hand but as you say you read him as fish It adds any pair or set of Q w A kicker also any 10 J to 10 A .

The only things that might of changed by playing different if you pushed the flop instead of 3/4 bet to avoid him chasing flush and turning flush draw into bluff on river which makes a hard decision and if a club had hit then you are for sure you are forced to fold and if not that route then push the turn instead of checking it would take away his chance of bluffing on the river .. If he had the hand you lost anyway .

There is a case for folding the river with so many possible better hands out there that even a fish could be holding given the turn and this is your first hand with him he did only 2X bet but he called re raise 6X but I would gamble and re buy if wrong

Well, we are in position so it shouldn't happen. If he donk lead big on the river or raise turn, we are pretty much dead. It's rarely as a bluff or with worse imo, unless he's an aggrofish. If he checks, I think I'm checking too on a club river. I'm not sure it's really a value bet anymore.

If we were OOP, I think I would hate life more on this turn.
