Hi,
I played this hand and I wasn't sure what to do. Preflop guy in the CO 3Bet Shove (hand before he lost half of his stack so I assume that he is on tilt, shoving random hand). I'm on BB w AKs and here in my first question:
Cold Call or 4Bet?
I decided to call since we are very deep with MP and to my suprise he decided to call. I assume that he Could Cold Call TT-QQ, AK.
I check the flop because I don't think that he would fold this range. Turn is the same as flop. River brings me TP and I'm getting 3:1 on a call.

Call, cause he could have AK, KQ, QQ. And why you didnt bet on flop and turn? U had ace with top kicker vs 1 player, the chance that he caught pair on this flop is small enough. Btw its only way to win some money cause u lost to CO. I think he had top pair and u won if he only had QQ; AA,KK,JJ,TT beats ur hand.

most players I've met at this level and in this situation play very fit or fold with their postflop play. They can't bluff too much since they still have the beat the guy who shoved. or at least that's their line of thinking.

Overpairs would likely have bet the flop (AA, KK, QQ). Besides QQ would never bet out here if the person is thinking at all (what would they get value from?)

There's a chance you are facing KQ, but more likely you are up against a slowplayed Fullhouse, Another AK for a chop, or an AQ that rivered their straight (I think this is most likely). Usually I'd cry call this expecting to lose it a lot of times, but it's probably better to fold.

But the best choice of all would have been to shove here preflop.
