Is it better to call their turn Raise and let them barrel River.

Calling isn't a bad play. You can allow them to bet into you on the river.

Personally, I would be slightly worried about K8/K9 and 88/99 if my opponent took this line but at 6max it's a little difficult to get away from anyway.

Bet for value on the river if they check again.

Yes, please 3-bet that turn. You have a whale on hook... time to real him in. If he has K9/K8, :(... but time to pull the hammer out. :)

I did 3Bet shove the turn and they folded, just wasn't sure whether as in this case when they have nothing to let them shove river.

Generally speaking if someone CR's the turn and gets called they won't bluff rivers unless they are a total nutball. You have a whale, but you don't know how aggressive he is after only a few hands. I prefer a small 3-bet to get his worse Kx and, straight draws, and 9x range more invested in the pot. If you absolutely knew that his aggression was really high, then I do like just calling and giving him the opportunity to make a bigger mistake. It's good that you were considering both lines. NH.
