Hi all,

I played this hand last night and I would like to hear your opinions as well. So, I flopped top set on a wet board and I'm faced with aggressive villain. I understand that my set very "sensitive" here, but for sure, I will not fold until I see the river. Also, this is ZOOM cash game and I haven't any relevant info about the villain. So, what's your move here and why? Of course, later I will tell you what I did here, but before that I want to hear your opinions..

I'd bet 65-75c minimum on the flop and just keep raising on the flop and look to get it in at that point. Sets of Queens and tens should also be looking to get it in at that point before another diamond comes and kills the action. He could easily be driving the action with Ad in his hand so you want to be charging that hand to draw.
If he does have the made flush you are still 35% to boat up. You shouldn't be scared of flopped flushes they only happen 1 in 111.

Bet more on the flop, 3-bet the flop. His bet sizing is really poor, so it makes me lean towards him not understanding your range in this spot and only looking at his hand, which = fold the river.

He either has a flush/straight or nothing. I don't know the general population tendencies at zoom at these stakes to say how close call/fold is here. But the bigger mistakes are on the flop.

I would finished this action on the flop mate lol.. 3bet-5bet allin for sure. He's probably had big A and he was afraid of another diamond. If he already has a flush why he played so aggressively? I may be wrong but that's my opinion.

Thanks all, I appreciate your comments and I totally agree. Really don't know why I bet so small on the flop, now I see that was a mistake, usually bet more.. But after his raise on the flop I decided to play passively, and to pay any bet on the turn, so if there is another diamond I would fold.. As for the river, I believed that he has Ad and he wants me to fold..

Anyway, thanks again, I think I learned some things from this hand. The complete hand you can see here - https://www.boomplayer.com/23799355_A695E0BB6A

Typical aggro zoom player pushing his draws hard, that's why I prefer to get the money in early.
Glad you stacked his aggro ass, well done, good read and call.

Yeah my first thought is that he played it too aggressively for flopped flush and he is on monster draw with any Jd, possibly Ad. However, two pair also makes sense, but you are ahead against all of this hands. Funny is that you are only about 55% favourite on the flop against any Jd, that is why people bet and raise it much like if they were holding made hand.
