I know I am gonna hear "fold pre" here. OK, I can deal with that. Is this a 3 bet pre??? I am thinking not. I have a small bit of history with him, we dont 3-4 bet each other light as a rule, but BTN vs BB maybe I could 4 bet/fold, but I prefer to call and play position. (even tho I am not all that great at it yet)

With a BD FD and double gutter, I called OTF.... (comments)

BUT OTT......

I think the hand is fine, it's a great turn card for our perceived range so obviously bet it. If he calls, bet the river.

yeah, fold pre.

is raising the flop bad? it hits our percieved range, we have a gutshot and 2 overs.. only thing I don't like is the FD, but its way more likely we'd have it than him.

as played bet the turn, check back river.

Folding pre and checking river is weak.

I do not like bluffing with air. Also i do not like calling big raises with weak draws. As you played the hand check the turn check the river than never do that again. You have to invest too much money to make it into a big bluff and i do not like big bluffs at cash tables .

since when is a GS air? FE AND a draw is anything but air IMO.

If a fold is the only way I can win, well, thats air. But I also think bluffing with air needs to be in your repertoire of moves.

I would fold pre as others have said but I would definitely raise the flop with the double gutter, two over cards and a backdoor flush draw.

That's c-betting .My only bluff with air. But in this situation he donked the flop and put you in a situation where the only option in my opinion is a fold. Your call is like saying "i missed the flop". Also you do not know what he will do if you stab the turn. If he calls you will feel like throwing up.

Probabely against a weak opponent a reraise on the flop would be a good ideea but he is quite agressive postflop and his preflop play was strong.
