Yeah, it's not a very tough spot but I'm trying to find some hands somewhat worth posting.

Sick check raise by villain (even crazy is villain's bet sizing), since we have no info then it is ok to fold here.

Also especially against such players next time we keep in mind to do a little bit of pot control whenever we have decent showdown value and we are not sure if our hand is best. :joyman:

CHECK the FLOP please. This hand we need to consider pot control.

We raise the flop, we are folding worse hands and better hands are only calling.

I'm not upset about the turn bet, and the shove justifies a fold.

But checking behind the flop would've saved you money and may make you more money in the future to keep those hands we beat in.

check/check flop. check/check turn... raise/call river. *safe line*

But check/raise check/check raise/call *bit riskier but more value if ur good at reading the hand* could be potentially more profitable ... especially if our opponent has say lower pockets than 9. or some sort of straight draws.

The above post I thought was an April Fool's gag, but the user is in Melbourne.

Oh well. Anyway, do not check the flop.

Wow ... not cool.

Ah. So it wasn't an April Fool's thing after all, judging by the offense taken. I figured as much.

Just while I'm pointing out potentially not cool things, a great deal of the 2NL hands you've been filling up the index with seem ill suited for this particular board - particularly if the point is to make other people take random guesses at the exact two cards your opponent had in the hole.

I am betting on this flop. We have top pair and the paired 9's mean we are good here almost always.
So I am betting to extract value from weaker hands..and. no way I'm giving a free card here to the multitude of hands with over-cards. Checking the flop here is opening up the chance of them beating you for free,,,,,not good
From the stats we can see on this guy he is borderline nutball so if I have a decent read on him I will consider calling it off here sometimes on a board like this, yeah he might have a 9 but nutballs do this with overcards and draws.
