10NL 6-max zoom on pokerstars. Villain is unknown.

BTN: $13.76
Hero (SB): $24.22
BB: $10.34
UTG: $10.81
MP: $14.89
CO: $4.85

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with T:heart: T:spade:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.70

Flop: ($2.10) K:heart: 2:heart: Q:heart: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10, BTN calls $1.10

Turn: ($4.30) K:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.05, Hero calls $2.05

River: ($8.40) 3:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $4.01, Hero calls $4.01

What do you think about the way hero played this hand? My logic for making the hero call was that the Ahx flush draw busted and also that I couldn't see the villain betting here with anything worse than trips, and I thought there were more bluffs in his range than there were trips or better.

Looks good to me.

His just-under-half-pot river bet doesn't feel like a value-bet.

Yeah, I think with your flop bet sizing, and his sizing on each street, it will be a busted straight or flush draw often enough for the river to be profitable.

I think I fold to much in spots like this, what if he bets 2/3 to psb?

Hmm...
4bb preflop rise from OOP looks better to me.

Flop looks good, but Turn i don`t like the check/call, I think Hero can try a bloff in this spot with an overbet/fold,or chck/rise/fold.

River- Fold, 3 street barel means strong hand.

I could be wrong but if your going to be calling the turn bet, i preffer betting it ourselves and having to make him make the tough call and to keep initiative.

I think the call is fine but I tend to agree with Vinyl. When the turn comes what hands do you put in villains range? AK, KQ and QQ? I think it's possible you're right but his calling range otb is a lot wider and depending on how villain plays (reads?) they could be calling with some mid connectors, J9+, Q9+, K10+, AJo+. The majority of these you beat with how you've repped your hand pre and post flop. I may be wrong too, please let me know, but I think a double barrel would have been a pretty reasonable line in this position. I don't think the call was bad either but I think you may have turned your hand into a bluff catcher a street too early.

Either way I'm making notes on villain here.
