$10 NL HE 6-max: Bluff Catcher v River Bet

Villain's taken to 3betting me quite a bit. He's pretty aggro postflop, cbetting 80%. My plan was to take this away from him on the turn, but when the 3:club: spikes, I have a lot of outs, so I don't want to let this aggro guy possibly blow me off it. So instead I peel.

My image is pretty aggro. 36/28/4 I'll try to pick up just about any pot that looks like no one wants it.

You can see the river action yourself

This is a fold PF if you have someone 3betting you a lot and playing aggressively post flop. Especially if your image is already LAG. If you really want to go through with this just squeeze them with a huge 4-bet.

If you were planning to take it away on the turn, I don't understand how getting more outs would stop you. I'm just not sure how much you'd want to bet since you have more left behind than is in the pot.

Fold on the river.

I don't hate a squeeze, but it's just such a predictable adjustment to light 3betting. If I 4bet and he jams, now it really sucks. I'm going to outplay him so hard postflop, that I much prefer flatting it in position, and play from there. I don't mind playing against a light 3bet in position, I'm going to make life hell for him that way.

The whole deal with more outs, is originally I felt I had about 0 sd value. So in that case, bluffing it off is fine by me. If he moves at me, easy laydown. But once I had additional outs, I might be able to win the pot via showdown, and if me moves on me now that I have outs, I have a much harder decision.

I dunno man, this is 10NL. You're probably overthinking this.

Personally I would fold preflop and save the headaches for when I get out of the micros.

This is what I thought at the time. Felt like such an obvious bluff, because my call on the flop could be anything, but then I check behind on the turn, saying I don't like my hand.

After I let the cat out of the bag that I'm not strong, he fires out almost pot. Therefore, he'll infer a large bet will mostly likely illicit a fold. Most of his made hands should be making a small bet to try and extract value from my weaker hands, or checking if he thinks he can induce me to bluff.

Based on my assessment of how he'd read me, I called him and he showed KK. So, yeah I'm overthinking again, as usual. I guess even LAGs at micros are Level 0 thinkers.

And just to further prove how overthinking I am, my intial reaction was, "Oh my god, he knew that I would read that bet as a likely bluff and sized it in such a way to make it for value" instead of thinking that villain was really going, "I have KINGS!!!"

I like the preflop. Up until river this hand is fine. I guess I would fold that river though, since his hand looks like a strong one pair hand
