Just wondering in these kind of situations when you pick up more equity on the turn is it best to keep on barreling or risk being blown off the hand if they raise.

I'm 100% barrelling turn, A lot of Ax + broadway hands are calling that flop as it doesn't hit a lot of your perceived range, as played the check back looks weak on the turn and the lead out bet on the river looks weak, if he did have something i'd expect a check raise there.

Unlucky op.

Did you not post this in the polished poker thread because you knew I'd berate you? lol

I don't want to hear any whining about running bad.

But yes, you barrel that turn. The bottom line in spots like this is if you improve a good amount, which you do, and your opponent has a lot of hands they can fold because the turn doesn't hit their range and can act as a scare card, then barrel.

:D

If you bet flop, bet turn to. There are many hand that call this flop. If you get raise just fold.

micros tournaments in poker star every 80% of the players are paying to see the flop .... it is not for nothing that the first blind of the tournament more than 10% has fallen ....
