Winning Poker Network (Yatahay) - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players

BTN: 199.3 BB (VPIP: 27.27, PFR: 7.79, 3Bet Preflop: 3.03, hands: 82)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 24.96, PFR: 18.85, 3Bet Preflop: 6.70, Hands: 36,415)
Hero (BB): 100 BB
UTG: 100 BB (VPIP: 28.88, PFR: 21.61, 3Bet Preflop: 8.04, Hands: 24,938)
CO: 113.9 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q A

fold, CO raises to 3.5 BB, BTN calls 3.5 BB, fold, Hero raises to 17.5 BB, CO raises to 48.8 BB, fold, Hero calls 31.3 BB

Flop: (101.6 BB, 2 players) 3 3 8
Hero checks, CO bets 65.1 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 51.2 BB and is all-in

Turn: (204 BB, 2 players) 8

River: (204 BB, 2 players) 9

Doing some reading now it seems like most people hate calling 4bets without made hands. Could someone explain to me why this is the case? Also, flop shove is a snap call because I have the necessary odds right? Thanks.

You know nothing about this guy so Hero has to go with the average player. Call it AA, KK, QQ, AKs, AK AQs, Against that range Hero is a 30/70 dog and has put 1/2 his stack in the middle. That's why people hate calling 4 bets without a made hand.

\After Hero calls pre he's left with 51.2 to win 203. Strictly speaking Hero is a 20/80 dog after the flop, and should fold, but I understand the call.

Hero has to call roughly half pot bet size so that's 25% equity.
Let's assume you have minimum 9 outs to complete the flush.
9 outs to complete by the river is 35% so I think the flop call is fine.

this is not a good play imo.
You put 50% of your stack preflop with AQhigh which is insane. why would you do that? How are you gonna manuever postflop given the odds you are getting?
Either Jam or fold preflop
I'm folding to that massive 4bet without any reads

as played an easy call on flop. you got around 45%. You need only 25%
