Villian had 43 VPIP and 23 PFR, saw him win a big cooler earlier with garbage holding.

The line I took was slightly more aggro and tilty but on later analysis thought it was the most optimal. Here is the hand:

Hand History driven straight to this forum by DriveHUD - http://drivehud.com

NL Holdem $0.10(BB)
BTN ($11.4)
SB ($9.6)
BB ($9.3)
HERO ($8.7)
HJ ($4.54)
CO ($8.67)

Dealt to Hero As Qc

HERO Raises To $0.3 (Rem. Stack: 8.4), HJ Folds, CO Calls $0.3 (Rem. Stack: 8.37), BTN Folds, SB Folds, BB Calls $0.2 (Rem. Stack: 9.0)

Flop ($0.95) Ac 2h Tc
BB Checks, HERO Bets $0.67 (Rem. Stack: 7.73), CO Folds, BB Raises To $1.34 (Rem. Stack: 7.66), HERO Calls $0.67 (Rem. Stack: 7.06)

Turn ($3.63) Ac 2h Tc 2d
BB Bets $1.81 (Rem. Stack: 5.85), HERO $7.06 (allin) (Rem. Stack: 0.00), BB Calls $5.25 (Rem. Stack: 0.60)

River ($17.75) Ac 2h Tc 2d 5h

BB shows 5s Ad

BB wins $16.87

Should I find a fold on the turn? I'm still unsure what the best +EV line is for this situation. Thanks!:)

Getting raised on the flop is always tricky as it's usually indicative of a nut hand so if you call then you either want to have a good draw yourself or a good read on the player that he raises draws and has some occasional bluffs. You clearly had some read that he is capable of raising the flop with worse but even so I don't like the shove on the turn as usually you just fold out his bluffs and weak hands and only get called by better hands.
This guy clearly over valued his hand but that won't happen very often in this sort of scenario.
Calling turn and giving him the opportunity to bluff off his stack with missed draws is usually better than shoving and folding out his air. If you really put him on a draw then min raising the turn yourself would be ok to get extra value.
The fact that he gets there is irrelevant you got your money in good so forget about the result.

Thanks for the reply! So would check calling turn and reevaluating the river be the best line?

How you play the hand is completely player dependant especially when you get raised on the flop.
If you get raised by a nit or someone with low aggression it's nearly always best to fold on the flop as they will only raise with a nutted hand. You want to be hanging around and considering calling down aggressive players who will also be raising their draws. So you should really only be calling the turn if they are aggro barrellers.
clearly if an obvious draw arrives and they jam you're in a tough spot and may have to let it go. If the river is a total brick and they shove you need to call most of the time or there really isn't any point having called the turn.
So yes call the turn and re-evaluate the river card.

What is with this turn play? You are turning your hand into a bluff that will literally never get folds at this point. Sure he turned up with a worse hand but if this is any indication of how you play top pair, you should work on that.

If you call the flop, then you should shove all brick turns, which this is. You want to get value from all draws, which you're mostly hoping are a large part of his range. Typically speaking, at these stakes a flop CR is going to be strong, so you don't want to be jamming into the nuts or near to it. But if your fish is at all aggressive, then this line is fine.

If you have other info on your opponent, calling IP on the turn can be fine so you can make a river decision.

Qc is going to block a lot of villain x/raise bluffs and if we have a strong enough hand to shove brick turns why don't we just 3b flop?
