I totally don't know what the best move here is. I don't have any stats cause I don't have a hud. Probably wouldn't help much since I've only been at this site for two days. My guesd is that this player is fair to good.

Doesn't matter about other players. Folded to sb.

Sb. 21
hero Bb. 19

Sb raises to .30
Hero reraise to .70 QdAs
Call

Flop (1.40) Qs Qh 6c

Sb check
Hero bets 1.00
Call

Turn (3.40) Kc

Sb bets 2.30
Hero raises to 5.50
Shove to 17ish
Hero???

it's easy, fold. too deep.

and I see no reason why we should 3bet pre, I find it hard he calls with anything you dominate, like AJ, and I doubt he folds better, perhaps he folds a small or medium pocket pair.

would have been much easier with stats, just get a hud, there are free ones out there that work pretty good. these days you are a dead man walking without one.

Yeah, I think this is a snap call at 60 -70 bb deep. At 170 I kind of thought it was a crying fold when I thought about the hand later.

why raise turn if you don't want to stack off?

if you're gonna 3bet, make it bigger.. better to polarise your range IP vs 'better' players.

what do you five him here though, KQ? that and 66 are the only reason you're folding.

oh and get a HUD, it'd help a lot in spots like these.

He'd been stealIng blinds all day and I didn't want to play this hand against any 2 cards so if I raised it pre flop to make him play some kind of range. I thought I was ahead on the turn and raised for value because I thought he would come along after leading. I think I need to reevaluate whether I'm ahead when he shoves my raise. I just don't see anything that I beat when he shoves for 170 bb.

so you think he was bluffing but you raise?

I think personally flat turn and raise river, makes it hard for him to call you with much though.

call call call might be ok but is prob too nitty for a lot of people on here.

you're beat by a very thin range here though.. I dunno, I probably call off since he can stack worse Q's and random shit if he's spewy.

I don't think he was bluffing. I thought the K hit him because he led. I thought that he would call a raise on the turn. I did not expect him to shove. When he calls (and I'm positive he will), I'm calling off on the river every time. When he shoves, I think that is just way too strong a line for me to call off here. This is all after the fact, btw. I did call.

3b pre is good. especially one that small, because he WILL call with worse- both dominated aces and queens.

call the turn. when you raise, you put yourself in this awkward spot bc people should only be calling with any Q bar AQ, but they will do this with like QT etc bc they play bad. so when he jams on you youve kinda lost info. you could be chopping, be crushed, or be crushing him. i dont like stacking when i have no idea what my opponent has

this is a really impossible spot for anyone here to decide. it all comes down to whether you think hed play KQ, QJ, QT like this. if so call (and in which case your turn raise is fine). if not, flat the whole way.

as played, i think you have to call. however i pretty much always expect him to have 66/KQ here
