I hate JJ with a passion. I lost yesterday with it twice, AND lost another hand to a guy with JJ (although I misplayed that hand). I'd say that your fold was right on. Villain seems a TAG, and could easily be playing AK. His bets seem to back up that up.

If you plan on calling a half-pot bet on the turn, you might just lead with one, too (and fold to resistance). But this is fine too.

I just flat a nit's pot-sized open from the CO. We aren't doing great against his continuing range.

As played, double barrel the K. You can still get value from flush draws/1010, and we don't mind if he folds. You'd also barrel here with all your bluffs, so you turn your hand super face-up. He really shouldn't have many K in his range, and once you check you also open yourself up to getting bluffed.
