Ok so most hands i've posted so far i've butchered. Here I tried a VB on the river but my question is, is this standard or too thin?

Also I checked back on the turn to avoid a bigger pot but i'm assuming most of you will say I should have bet it with TPGK and an OESD?

Also first few hands on the table

You can get a lot of value from a turn bet. If he has a heart he very well likely will call you and you get get some value for his draw.
