Here is a selection of 3 hands that I played in a recent session. All of these are Bovada, so no real stats. I had a winning session, but I wonder if anyone would have played these hands for more than I did. The biggest hand is probably number 3. The first two, I think most people will agree with how I played them. But, I've had a couple hands where people seem a lot more "call-happy" than I usually am.

HAND 1
================================================
PokerStars - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 61.5 BB
BTN: 36.4 BB
SB: 35.8 BB
Hero (BB): 263.1 BB
UTG: 119.7 BB
MP: 141.2 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has :9s4::9h4:

UTG raises to 3.5 BB, MP raises to 12 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero folds
================================================

OK, facing an UTG raise and an MP 3-bet when out of position, I figured this was pretty standard.

HAND 2
================================================
PokerStars - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 97.9 BB
CO: 85.4 BB
BTN: 36.6 BB
Hero (SB): 102.8 BB
BB: 100 BB
UTG: 177.9 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has :jd4::js4:

fold, MP calls 1 BB, CO calls 1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 8 BB, fold, MP calls 7 BB, fold

Flop: (18 BB, 2 players) :ac4::4c4::kc4:
Hero checks, MP bets 10 BB, Hero folds
================================================

Flops don't get worse than this. Figured this was a standard c/f spot.

HAND 3
================================================
PokerStars - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 98.4 BB
SB: 154.7 BB
BB: 29 BB
Hero (UTG): 144.5 BB
MP: 90.9 BB
CO: 126.4 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has :ac4::ah4:

Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, CO calls 4 BB, BTN calls 4 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (13.5 BB, 3 players) :kc4::7d4::10d4:
Hero bets 13.5 BB, CO calls 13.5 BB, fold

Turn: (40.5 BB, 2 players) :5d4:
Hero checks, CO bets 20.2 BB, Hero calls 20.2 BB

I am not a fan of facing a raise on this turn. I don't feel ready to fold to a half-pot bet. But, I admit that I have no plan for the river.

River: (80.9 BB, 2 players) :kh4:
Hero checks

This river froze me entirely. Pretty much everything that calls on the flop then bets the turn improved here. I figure there is a pretty big chance that I get raised here. I am tempted to c/f if the CO bets again.

yeah the first two hands are totally standard and I'd play them the same unless I had a tremendous read on a certain villain's playing style and range. And hand 3 is a tough spot but I think i'd manage a check/fold on the river unless I knew the villain was float-happy. Because basically the only hands you beat on the river are the villain's floats and his Tx that wanted to peel one off.

hand 3: b/f on turn
hand 2: would you cbet if the flop wasn't monotone?
