I found this spot tough. Im not using a Hud at this site. Villian is fairly passive.
Should I be calling turn? Ugh.

The way villian is wanting to get chips in the pot quickly, it's most likely a two pair like J,Q or a set.

If he is really passive, then I can only find a fold but tbh..it's a tough fold but only you can decide and this is purely villain dependent I'm never a big fan of getting AI with TPTK vs such passive opponents and usually only like stacking of vs complete loose aggro's. Doesn't seem like a missed draw hand so I sway towards a fold.

If he's fairly passive, folding the flop makes sense to me

+++. His raise means he hit it . Now he could have even a KQ. But you have to fold the flop. It is his right to win a pot once in a while because he is passive. He even check raised. For me this is strong as a set when a passive guy give so much action. You have to fold and you have to make it quick before the pot blows up.

Depends on read of villain.
If villain is very aggro you may have to just call, call, call (you can't just keep folding tptk on the flop vs maniac or hyper LAG.
Against most other players you should just bet/fold flop.
The big mistake i see here is that you called flop and then folded later on when turn and river bricked off. You have to think a couple streets ahead. It sucks to put money in on flop and turn then not even make it to show down. As played though, fold river.
If the villain is aggro enough for you to call OTF then you should call down. If you don't feel like you can call down vs this villain profitably on bricked turn and river then you should lay it down on the flop. If your opponent is good enough for you to need to worry about balance and what not ("needing" to peel a certain % of c/r's and call a certain % of turns, etc..at this level then just change tables honestly).
