Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 31/14/1

I have no idea if I played this hand terribly or ok?

UTG is a bad player who I have 500ish hands on. All 3 callers are confirmed fish.

Any input is appreciated.

Is my sizing ok?

Are we happy GIIPF?

I think I should have either folded or shoved vs the 4bet? His sizing is really weird though... If I hit an A or K on the flop then I snap his all in.

I dunno, need some thoughts on this! :icon_scra

It's an annoying spot since we're either flipping or crushed but this is 100% GII pre. We can't fold after committing so much to the pot and with such a strong hand.

As for the spot you put yourself in, there are 3 AA combos, 3 KK combos, 6 QQ combos, and 3 JJ combos ahead of you. There are 9 AK combos you're tying with and 16 AQ you beat. It's probably fair to say that he's only repopping AQ 1/4 the time, so let's say 4 AQ combos you beat. Just weight the equities and make your decision based on the pot odds.

Look at his 3-bet stat. Only 1% over 500 hands. How do you think we stand with AKs against his 4-bet range witch is virtually AA, KK even less.
I have to agree with folding preflop.

That's not 3bet%. I don't remember exactly what It was but it wasn't 6+ or high at all. Was a standard 3bet% for bad players. AA KK, sometimes QQ and AK.

Fold pre is best still maybe. Seems nitty though :cool:

Is his aggression factor?
Than post his 3-bet and 4-bet factor. You should have them. The he 4-bet factor should tell you something in this hand even with only 500 hands.
Anyway. The solution is not the call. GII or fold. If it Is close or bigger than 4% than GII. If it is less than 4 than fold. You beat more than that but IMO they are tighter than usual in this spots. I doubt they will 4-bet here with AQ.
If it is 1 or 2 like most micro players have than fold definitly

You can fold or call preflop but not reraise it. You just made a problem for yourself postflop.

The 1 is AF not 3bet (I think??? OP, ??) so still looks like he is weighted to AA-QQ, AK, but still hard to say from sample size, but 3 bet/calling is the worst option here IMO. Either 3bet/GII or just call pre. Post, it sucks to be OP as played.

You mean just call without 3-bet pre so that we can still see a flop? That is a solution because there are that many opponents. But we only continue postflop with draws not TPTK. And we are OOP.
We need someone with a more expert view to say if this is +EV.

No, I mean what I said in my post. Calling would be one option, but not the only one. I also didnt say it is the best one, but better than 3bet calling.

1 = AF.

Would you say his 4bet is a bit on the small side? Looking back at it I should be making a discipline fold to it. It's annoying though when it's against a bad player with that much dead money in the pot

ok, man you have 500 hands on this dude , so give us his utg PFR, since he's only 34/14, it tells me he's still prob only raising premies utg, so :

http://www.pokerstrategy.com
equity Win Tie
MP2 52.39% 43.02% 9.36% { 99+, AJs+, AKo }
BB 47.61% 38.25% 9.36% { AdKd }

im just guesing at his utg pfr% , let me know what it is.

but you could flat which sucky oop multi-way, fold is sine, and shoving is dependent on what he's rasing utg

I do not think he is positionally aware. Not this kind of vilan.

idk it's gonna be close between stuffing or folding preflop. Not a huge fan of flatting pre when he isn't polarized he's probably just got top x% and if it's high enough I'd shove otherwise fold.

I agree you can't ditch a 1/4 of your stack here. Once you have three bet for value you have to commit and Gll pre. Before you make the 3bet check his pfr from EP to help the decision. You said he was bad so get it in and remove your positional disadvantage and ensure you see all 5 cards.

Nice shoving here. While I also hate to shove AK preflop, but seems that there are no choice left.
