Sorry, I'm having trouble with the Stox HH Converter. It's telling me Stars isn't supported. It used to work, obv.

How can you grab a hand from HEM and convert it? Any lessons would be appreciated. Maybe it's just that the Stox converter is down right now.

Meh, against this spewtard, it's probably correct to get it in on the flop. He can probably stack any 7 and some overcards too.

Calling down as you do is probably ok given the reads, but it certainly does not feel great.

Also, i don't understand you stack/bet sizing. If you play 71bb deep, it means you're not confortable playing deep, right? Then why don't you open to 4bb instead of 3? It would make your SPR a lot smaller on the flop, which i think would make you happier postflop.

Guy min-raises--my thinking: He has a damn straight draw or some trashy hands like A7, K7, Q7... etc. could be anything. I'd call him down--unless you have some reads--like he hardly raises on the flop without 2 pairs and above.

As played. Call.

I like getting it in on the flop, as played I call the river.

To use Stox HH converter, at the top of the text in your HH text delete " USD" from the limit description before clicking on "Convert".

Call and expect to see connecting cards which paired one card on the flop or A7.

Yeh Stox poker isn't workin atm for stars conversion due to a change in the Stars hand history with the recent update.

Anyway I would definitely raise the flop here. Calling down is weak and in fact, If I was him I'd be delighted at the fact you checked to him on the turn and river simply because he min raised you on the flop? Think about it... at the flop the pot is quite small and no ones controlling it. The second you call that min raise, you give him the edge and show your weak by check calling him.

The thing is do you want to be playing a $12+ pot on the river with simply a pair, and not even top pair? The answer is no... Especially without a read.

Raise.. If he comes back over the top, folding all day long.. if he calls, looks more and more like a draw so reevaluate later...

Calling is only the correct option in my eyes if you're planning on betting later or at least have a draw for something!

Calling down just feels so dirty

Getting it in on the flop is certainly OK here. As played, the river is a snapcall. I assume you check so he can get the rope to hang himself and then it doesn't make sense to fold once he's managed to get the noose nice and tight around his neck.
