so im still new to the table but i figured that this guy was a calling station after seeing him continuously limp/call after a few hands. Is this line ok or should I have bet the turn to protect against any other draws

You have to bet the turn AND the river. When someone calls too much exploit them! 3 Streets of value here. Slow down if he does anything except call. Ideally you want stacks in by river.

River v-bet seems thin, but the turn bet is a must and you're wasting gobs and gobs of value by not betting this.

b/f the turn??? What does he have that beats you? Limp/call pre so what are you behind 44/89??? If I bet the turn I'm calling a shove and even giving a mini fistpump (mini because I know I need to hold on the river).
