it might be because of the downswing I'm having but I think it's a fold. You have Ah so it's less likely that he's got a FD.

I'm probably shipping here. What's fold to 3 bet

If villain flops a set of tens here should he raise the flop?

Pocket 10 is the only concern but as the person above me said, would he raise flop with top set on this board against a preflop 3bettor?

If he had put you on an overpair or AK which he totally destroyed it would do him a lot better if he just calls it down every street as stacks will go in by the river anyway rather than reraise to scare overpairs of and to get more value from AK barreling with air.

You can't discount tens hereof course but I think JJ much more likely here, although I think that would prefer calling to see if you have whiffed with AK?

He could also have AK himself and trying to force your AK out, your most likely holding, but that's probably fancy thinking.

It's possibly close but I say ship it. If he is any decent player (stats please?) he can only have 10s that beat you and we all know putting players on exactly one hand and making a decision based on that is bad poker. Also, if you're folding this to a raise, what are you Not folding?

Yes. You don't want him to get scared off if he has QQ/JJ/KK and scare cards hit the turn. Also, being an unknown, you don't know his bluffing tendencies. So it's best to get value, as you're ahead of his range now and he will likely stack off with most over pairs.

Pot size bet in this situation always... Such a heavy drawing board and then if he reraises you then suggest folding.

Also why don't we know his stats... My guess is a heavy SD/FD since he's on the button. Could be anything a set or anything. So he's really using the power of position well.. We need stats to help decide what to do here though and whether he's just overusing position or really have the goods.

Ship it, villains unknown so he's more likely to be bad and hence more likely to have a merged raising range here.

Ship, villain could easily have jacks through kings, a good ten, or a fd.

Shipping it here, there are so many hands in his range that you beat.
Any higher pocket pair (excluding TT), flush draws like QhKh or QhJh as well as AT hands, exc.

edit: lol, just realized that I said almost the exact same thing as jsh169
