Full Tilt - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

UTG: $25.46
CO: $10.00
Hero (BTN): $10.45
SB: $6.39
BB: $17.50

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A:heart: A:spade:

UTG raises to $0.30, fold, Hero raises to $0.90, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95, 2 players) 6:spade: T:heart: Q:diamond:
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.00, UTG raises to $3.30, Hero ???

over 32 hands villain is a 22/22/71.

Reasons I think to raise:

Villain never folds a Q

Reasons I think to call:

He seems capable of raising draws so if we call he might shove turn when he misses.

He still shoves the turn with any Q.

By calling we keep more junk in his range but if we raise flop he may only call with sets and Qs(this one is fine obv)

In position, I usually just call these raises. The board is pretty wet though for a 3-bet pot, and we're not pumped about seeing K's, J's, or Q's hit the turn. I think I just get it in.

I bet the flop a little bigger as well. This isn't the type of board texture where I'm looking to gay-bet/gay-bet/gay-bet all the money in. I'd just make my flop bet a little bigger ($1.45ish) so that a turn shove won't be as much of an over bet. But that's kinda nit-picky.

Half pot's my standard c-bet size in a 3-bet pot, so its fine for most flops. Just this one hits more hands.

if you call every turn, it doesn't much matter what you choose.
