$10 NL HE 6-max: AA dry board, donk bet on the flop

Only have 85 hands on the guy and he's a 17/8. I wasn't sure how to proceed after his donk bet because usually i've found that some TAGs will do this with sets, but since this board is so dry i don't know why he'd be DBing a set here. From the looks of it I put him on some pocket pair(because of the limp/call) so i thought maybe 22-77, maybe JT+ i dont know. Should I raise the flop or smooth call?

Call and use your position. That flop is as dry as they come and unless you think he'll stack all his pairs if you raise the flop the only thing you're raise will accomplish is getting him to fold all his 2 out hands.

Well if he has 22/55 I'm just going to end up paying him. I don't like folding AA without a damn good reason. I don't think you have one here. Tough spot but I'm just calling down.
