$10 NL HE 6-max: Is this a fold??

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 18/4/2.2

Sorry it's not converted, my mobile internet things got a connection but its a slow ass gprs/edge link lol and it was taking aaaagggeeess to load up stox. Just enough of a connection though for poker goodness :D

Anyways, villain is 18/4 over 94 hands, i can't call on the flop here can i?? I may be just seeing monsters under the bed (again) but surely this is a set/straight/2pair, its such a drawy board so those type of hands would be making a raise like this to shut down the hand, well, maybe not the straight, but i just can't see me being ahead here, sure QQ or JJ does this too but even they must have a fair bit of equity vs KK on that flop, i don't have pokerstove atm so i couldn't check it myself, any advice would be appreciated guys :D

Calling & folding is roughly similar in EV IMO, and it doesn't matter which one you do. This is unlikely to be a made straight or set, since those usually don't want to lose their customer. So this is likely combo draws of all sorts that you're flipping with. Your equity in this spot is prolly ~45%ish, so call if you like, or fold.

Folding has less variance, but it is also no fun what-so-ever, so I probably call and embrace the variance.

What c9 said, pretty much - it just doesn't make sense for a straight or set to shove like that. Unless they're the kind of tard who does that with 77 because they're scared of all the draws and think that's the best way to protect their hand.

IDK, the fact that it's three-way on the flop might make it more likely that it's an overprotective set. But I think it's QQ / JJ or the abovementioned combo draws more often. I guess we can find a fold here, but I won't be finding it often.

Oh - PokerStove says you're about 85-90% vs QQ (depending on suits) and 72-75% against JJ (again, depending on suits).
