Are these ever bluffs?? I always think its one last desp attempt to get stacks in cuz he hated my check on the river. But does anyone call these up and get surprised?

Why are you donking into UTG and barreling two streets with middle pair? His river shove is bad but not weird while your line on the other hand, is very weird.

betting the flop in a 3- way pot where you want the value ??

you can play once x/call 42 % EQ , i think UTG will be frank and i like folded now

Pretty much this. Just check and fold to his cbet. Getting middle pair profitably to showdown OOP & multiway is impossible.

True, but you're OOP and have no equity when called. And when you donk, you turn your hand face-up to a draw/bluff/weak hand or a hand with medium/weak SDV that doesn't know where it is at.

personally I don't get the donk here. If we reeeeeallly knew we were ahead here why don't we wait for the cbet at least. I'm check-calling flop against people that are likely to give up after one street and check folding against those who aren't
