I think thats a good fold, no stats on villain? Had to of hit the straight or flush, only hand i see shoving that isnt a straight or flush is 88, 99 or a bluff

you could c/f on river, or bet something along 2$(35ish% pot) and set of 2 calls you, straights and flushes raises you and you fold.

I like the fact that you bet big on turn.
If river came brick(didnt complete flush or straight) you could x/c cause flop is draw heavy.

I'd prefer to just x/fold river. What are we hoping to get value from? This is far too thin.

But I like your play on the flop and turn, especially the sizing.

Check fold is frustrating, and if he is bluffing then good for him he had position. Just one of those hands you have to give up despite the face value of your hand

I think you played it fine. I like the bigger bet sizing on flop and turn with so many draws. I think bet/fold on the river is better than check/call or check fold.

No, bet was correct (in most cases, some stats on opponent would help). But you want to size your bet for what you want called which you're looking for 2 pair to call on a scary board. So something closer to 2.50 is good. Most people won't turn 2 pair into a bluff. They are either calling or folding. Anything else that was going to bluff still will.

What feels like yesterday was quite sometime ago, lol I remember I use to spaz out with 2pair in these spots as a bluff but got called down everytime it felt so I stopped that :)

I guess 35% bet in future is correct sizing?

I honestly would've played the hand almost identical to the way you played it minus the river bet. I think it was aggressive and pretty ****y. You pretty much are banking on they have 2 pair or a worse set all the way to the river (and hoping they didn't ALREADY make their straight).

Trips are fairly easy to crack, and I think you played it perfect right up until the river. I would've checked and called a reasonable-sized bet or folded to a large bet. There's no way you should bet that river, because you've already made it known you hit the flop, right? They're banking on you hit a small straight, trips, or two pair (with some combo of connectors, assuming you mix up your play).

But yeah the fold on after the jam was the right move. I might call that scenario only 5% of the time. It's pretty obvious he was chasing something. You can't always say you're always gonna fold in that situation, and if you do I think you might miss out on some profit. You do have some decent show-down value against large pocket pairs (bluffs).

Just my 2 cents :3
