Does a 20/18 reg open with J10 or 56? I doubt it and from my experience I've found that to be the case. But if hes from the CO versus UTG, obviously there is more 10s in his range in late position versus early position unless he has exactly 1010 or , K10 suited, or A10suited from UTG.
I would push the action for sure until like braveslice said, I get pushed off the hand. JJ-AA is going to drive the action to get a 10 to call or a pair and a draw to call. Not many times is it set over set, and you're never flopped dead unless its set over set, which if that happens kudos to my villain. But idc who the player is, my action never changes. I'm driving the action unless I think my villain is never bluffing
or never has worse then a set better then mine. You have plenty of equity against of flushes drawing that hit and straights that hit.
The ONLY way I slow down against a 20/18 reg is if its 789 all suited, because if hes never bluffing and i think he has a flush I play it slow to hopefully house up.
