10NL 6-max zoom on pokerstars. I have some history with the villain. His stats are: VPIP/PFR/3bet = 28/22/20 over 34 hands. I also made a note that he 3bet an MP raise in the BTN with ATo (so he loves light 3betting).

BTN: $12.66
Hero (SB): $46.66
BB: $10.00
UTG: $10.00
MP: $14.22
CO: $15.85

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with T:diamond: T:heart:
1 fold, MP raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1, BB raises to $2.60, 1 fold, Hero raises to $46.66 all in

Taking the stats/history into account, what do you think of the way hero played this hand?

Does he fold to a 4-bet often? That's going to be the most important stat, imo. If you're ahead of his range, then why not just call his 3-bet? Being ahead of his 3-betting range is not the same as being ahead of his 4-bet calling range...

Gross spot. You don't have enough hands for that 3-bet number to be legit yet, but the alternatives (just call his raise, folding to his 4-bet) are gross too.

Meh.

Light 4-betting and light 3-betting are totally different, but this play can't be that bad imo. If we are flipping it is a victory, and it sounds like we could be ahead.

This is a cold 4-bet, which even if people are aggressive 3-bettors, they don't tend to do unless they have big hands almost ever. I'd fold. I don't think you'd have more than 35% equity on average in a spot like this. Every once in a while if he shows up with a spazz hand, I think on average you still have to weight his range really strong here. MP open, 3-bet, cold 4-bet.
