you are much better off c-betting a K72 (hits your range and he can't have anything on it) rainbow board than this. You have a gutshot and the pot is large but this board smashes a loose player's range.

AQhh vs. top 26%

Board: Tc 8c 9s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 61.122% 57.57% 03.56% 138485 8557.00 { 55+, A2s+, K6s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, A7o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }
Hand 1: 38.878% 35.32% 03.56% 84971 8557.00 { AhQh }

Yeah and besides he doesn't even have the top 26%, assuming he is more likely to 4-bet big pairs and AK and such. This is the type of guy that will float a bare gutshot, which is not necessarily a bad thing but he's agressive and can bluff you out on lots of turns too.

I don't think I cbet here, your only really comfortable barreling an Ace, and 1 of them would make a fd. I just think he comes along with all sorts of draws here inc loads of crappy gutshots that are gonna be able to take it away from you on the turn if the villain is aggressive and likes to bet.

The fold to cbet stat doesnt mean much here imo as its a 3bet pot, but it kinda shows that he maybe doesnt like folding on the flop so another reason to not cbet.

Not sure if its standard and i'm a big nit but theres no way I shove the turn here, what would be reasons for shoving the turn as I can't think of any? Honest question as shoving would never cross my mind there lol

With that holding, it's standard to check that flop instead of cbetting. Below is a graphic that shows flops that you don't cbet, well unless you have the nuts.

Bonus points if you can guess what instructional video this is from?
