Hand 1. Definitely checking back flop. You have absolutely nothing other than A high, and its very likely, one of them or both of them connected with this board. When they check to you on the turn, you could take a stab at it, but I dont think, it gets a lot of credit on this card. They will probably think like "If you had a K, you would have bet the flop, so forget you", and then call with their pocket 4`s. So I am also fine with checking back turn, mostly hoping to get to a cheap showdown and somehow be good with A high.

On the river you improve, but now the fishy looking SB lead out for almost pot. This is kind of a gross spot to be honest. You are calling for a chopper or hoping to catch some wild bluff, and quite often I do think, he will show up with a flush or a slowplayed K here. This time he did have the wild bluff though, and 72 is of course a very funny hand to see. This is clearly someone looking to have fun, and if his bluff had worked, he would probably have shown his hand to tilt you.

Hand 2
I am 3-betting preflop. A mini-open from BTN is usually an extremely wide range, so he have a ton of nonsense, that can not stand a 3-bet, and JTs is a nice hand to mix in as a 3-bet bluff. As played postflop seem fine, although checking turn is the more standard line.

Hand 1: fold preflop.
Hand 2: look to 3bet or fold more from SB. Depending of he the button plays i would decide for the coresponding move

I think, its completely fine to open A7o from BTN. Its not a great hand obviously, but we have the best seat at the table, so we also need to have the widest range here.

Not only fine.

All Ax is often standard to open with in BU and SB.

Hand 1. Playing against a villain with such a big vpip it is very difficult to read his hand, I am inclined to pot-control in this example. I really do not like the Ace with the little kicker, but I think that playing at 6 max table, player can’t fold this hand.

Hand 2. Think, I would re-raise the flop against this opponent in order to increase the pot.

From BTN I would typically fold A2o and A3o, if there are aggressive 3-betters in the blinds.

Hand 1 - I think I agree with everything up to the river. I actually don't think that river spot is THAT tough. I feel like most flush/straight draws would have bet turn, so I don't think SB will have a flush or straight very often. Also no way is Kx not betting turn with those draws out there plus pre-flop raiser will often be calling turn with pocket pairs. I actually really don't like the river bluff attempt. Villain might fold out some pocket pairs, but you're going to have Ax so much more often and it's an easy call.

Hand 2 - I tend to agree with consensus above. That's a good 3bet preflop. I also would be inclined to check/raise flop. Q/K/A are all such bad cards for you, I'd rather raise and not let AK/AQ draw out on me on the turn. Considering you called, I'm definitely checking back the turn and probably check/calling pending the bet size. In this case, I'm guessing a check/raise on the flop gets a fold.
