Hand 1 is pretty gross but I think we can argue folding this flop unless villain is cbetting way too much which he might be. We are just not getting to show down cheaply against this guy. People tend to not Cbet flops this wet unless they have something. And even if he has flush draws he cbets he probably has great equity against your hand with two overs. I wouldn't mind floating in position though. Don't make a habit of floating aggressive villains OOP.

Hand 2 I value bet river but AP I snap call river. I also think you can bet or check flop because his middle pocket pairs are not folding and he may float even wider then that. I do think the hand plays easier when we check/call flop tho

Hand 1, the turn is a raise or fold for me. Flatting is bad imo because we are mostly behind here (or possibly facing another bet on the river) and aren't getting much value if we hit our straight. I don't think we represent that much when we raise the turn though, although I think we fold out the bluffs that we cant call a bet from on the river. Fold for me.

Hand 2, yeah. I check the flop there for that reason. It allows him to stab at it. I would be value betting the river but as played I don't think I can fold.

1) I'll Bet/fold on the river
What does our bet accomplish? Is he folding anything that beats us? Is he calling with anything we beat?

2)Bet on the turn
That allows him to play perfectly vs our range. We fold out too many hands we beat if we do that.

Hand 2 I value bet river but AP I snap call river.
Isn't a guy with his stats going to be betting close to 100% of his range if we check here, while he's only calling a small % of that?

I also think you can bet or check flop because his middle pocket pairs are not folding and he may float even wider then that. I do think the hand plays easier when we check/call flop tho
If he's going to be floating a ton, isn't it best to just value-bet the flop then?

It's a 3 bet pot and he called a bet on a super dry flop. Even this guys range isn't that wide and is going to be made up of a lot of middle pairs that are not going to bet river but will probably call a small bet.

That is why I said checking or betting is fine against a villain like this. It's a 3 bet pot and we are most likely to only get 2 streets of value anyway. Checking flop keeps his range much wider and allows him to bluff which may get us more value.
