You need to be re raising the turn to see where ur at

If you think your opponent will make plenty calling mistakes with qx type hands we need to b pushing for stacks in

Cuz turn was awful play we are now in an awkward spot on river. Everything has gotten there i feel its a fold straight and flush .. though the board pairing for us is awesome.

Id consider folding but if its a fish id just shove
Any reads on player??

Easy answer fold

Checked spoiler after

well it was anon table so no hud or any previous info on him, based on donk/call i auto assumed him as weak player...

and i agree that it was best to fold when he pot river but thought that he might be encouraged that i havent raised turn and he again donk small on turn so i felt it was more likely Qx or another pair hand... thought that if he flushed that he would either bet bigger or x/r

Since he donked so small you gave him a great price by only 3xing. I'd make it around $1.50 on flop. As played I just flat turn and fold river at this sizing. There is merit to raising turn but how do you feel if villain jams and you have to fold.

I'm probably going to at least $1.25 on the flop.

You have to fold to the PSB on the river. He's got your pair beat. Straights, sets, flushes, two pair, whatever. You're not good nearly often enough to make calling the river profitable.

Raise bigger on the flop, this tells players 2 things, they have implied odds and are setting their own price 3x is small after the size of his pot and his donk. I would probably raise the turn, but calling is fine, because it is obviously a bad fold. It sucks, but unless you have clear reads on the river it is a clear fold.

4 to a straight and a pot sized river bet is a value bet all day.
When someone is betting with 4 to a straight on the board folding should be your default option regardless of the flush. This was simply a very bad call.

Raise flop larger, around $1.20. He probably has a draw or some weak Qx that is not folding, most likely a draw. Turn flat is good; raising is spew. But fold river. You're not beating anything really. He's not turning Qx into a bluff.

I play this the same way (minus the river call - a pot sized bet with 4-to-a-straight on the board after that small feeler bet on the turn is screaming "flush"). But Figaroo2 pointed out recently that just going x3 or betting the pot isn't a big enough raise in this spot.
Make the flop 1.20$ or 1.50$ instead.

And fold that river! Bet sizes like that are always for value at these stakes.

This is why you like to play with fish, they'll call badly.

I'm afraid you overplayed your hand living up to the old saw, "Aces win a small pot or lose a big one."

You could have raised more on the flop, but I think your villain is calling anyway.

When you have a 3 flush and a 4 to a straight on the board you have to fold the aces to teh pot size bet.

haha, damn villain played very nice, seems like he had some Qx, even when he hit the flush did same size of bet, kinda tricky, fold river - no doubt, think we must defend `bullets and raise more flop standard x2 pot will be good, he probably can call anyway with his potential FD, then fire turn again x2 mb too aggro, villain must fold, if he don't give up, we leaving the pot.

Raise the flop to 1.05-1.15, call the turn, fold the river. 1 pair doesn't beat much here.
