re: Poker & $10 NLHE 6-max: 10nl bluff bluff catch
When I say "jam", I don't mean "shove", I mean raise and keep raising until all the money is in. So, Hero bets $0.80, Villain ought to raise to somewhere in the neighborhood of $2.25 - $3 depending, and if Hero re-raises, shove over that.
If we call a 3bet and flop TP 100bb's deep, we either ought to be willing to get the money in the middle or we should've folded preflop - we're not really expecting to be in a better position than that. This is even better if we didn't flop TP, but flopped 2 pair or a set. Since Hero repped a big hand by 3betting pf, an A is a big part of his range, so getting his money in the middle as a huge favorite would be great here and is not unlikely.
Yeah, virtually any bet Villain makes (if he has a brain) is going to price us out of calling a turn bet. Semi-bluffing oop is pretty tricky though imo, I'd rather c/f here and look for a better spot.
Oh, and I did see you at DTB .
