Hi all,

New to the forum and fairly new to poker. I have been playing NLH10 with not much success..Not losing money but not winning either.

Please could sb give me their opinion on how to play this hand? Would you bluff here in the river or let it go?

I will post the result later if needed.

Thanks!

bluffing would only give you extra value from AK, AQ, and maybe A2 suited. You will get called down on your bluff more often than I see it giving you extra value(or even min-raised on it) so I wouldn't advise bluffing here.

AK might not even fold that river.

IMO, we should fold preflop without a read.

If we do have a read that villain 3-bets light, then call and raise all flops where you have a decent draw (like this one), or call down if we flop a pair.

I rarely play cash game, I used to have a lot of practice. I think after Turn and River check, you can try all-in the river. I think there was nothing on the opponent.
If I'd played it, after Turn check, immediately all-in.
I am interested, what was the end of the game.

Effective stack is not deep enough here to bluff profitably I think. If your stack is deeper, I would try 1.2 pot size with busted spade draws and balanced by value hands like 5x,78, A3 and may get villian to fold AK,AQ,TT,JJ and his 3bet bluff hands like A4o,A2o

Top up to 100bb if you can and play full stacked.Id just raise the flop here and get it in now we have got to the flop. But i possibly might just fold to the 3bet pre seen as it's vs our iso raise. Our iso should mean we aren't stealing with garbage so we likely have a top 20% ish hand which makes the 3bet not as bluff heavy i would think.

Thank you all!

I went all-in hoping to represent a set of 5s. Villain thought about it for nearly a minute but ended up calling. Showed AK offsuit.
