$10 NLHE 6-max: $10 NLHE 6-max: Do you think that call and then 4 bet can be profitable ?

poker stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players - http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2858251
The DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

SB: $4.90
BB: $16.20
UTG: $10.30
CO: $10.15
Hero (BTN): $9.74

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with 9d Td
1 fold, CO raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, SB calls $0.25, BB raises to $1.60, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds

Little scenario... I call because BTN and Sb are calling stations. and then this large 3-bet from a multi-tabler. Although I don't use HUD, It was easy too see that the villain (BB) is 3 betting too often and resteal from bb too often ( in like 50 hands he made about 8 3 bets , mostly when btn or sb opens). He was a multi tabler , playing 6 tables at a time so I would expect him to be rather tight and value orientated, but for me he seemed like a bully making big bets preflop to win the hand right there.

Examples of his plays:
With TT on the btn he opens for less than usual, and postflop is rather passive trying to keep the pot small.

Based on all that I have a gut feeling that he is squeezing with Air or maybe hands that don't want to see many opponents like 77-jj and he will never call 4 bet OOP.

Would do you think can this move be profitable?

I played solid -tight game without fancy moves and pot controlling with good hands like tptk to not commit my full stack. ( but becuase he was a multi tabler he couldn't see this , unless he had HUD stats

How this call and 4 bet looks to you. For me it look like AA or bluff.

I would much rather do it for value rather than a bluff. If you have someone that is 3 betting a lot sitting to your left my first option would be to move tables to make it easier on yourself. If however there is someone that hates money on your table just tighten your opening and calling ranges so that when you do get 3 bet you can comfortably 4 bet for value.

Well in general squeezes tend to be lighter. Lower the stakes the more likely it's not 3betting light though so be very careful.

I like attacking people who tend to 3bet wide too much. You know those people with 12%+ because they steal relentlessly. Well I guess this is a good spot if your against his lowest range but could get smashed as well. We are capped so if we have a thinking player we could be in trouble here but we do have a playable hand and position and for 3bet squeezer its a good spot for a jam with Ax hands.

3-bet or fold pre. You're bleeding chips by calling raises with suited connectors without the initiative. In my experience, back-raises are very weak, and I wouldn't be surprised for him to stack off lighter than usual. I don't like the 4-bet pre because we rep very few value hands and a lot of medium-strength hands like AQ/some AK/medium-high PP. Also, his range is going to be stronger here. If he had a speculative hand like SCs, PPs, suited broadways, he'd probably just flat to keep the SPR low and to have greater implied odds.

Flatting a CO open on the BTN with 109s is more then fine. We have position against what should be a pretty wide range and a hand that plays well post. 3 betting is also fine but it for sure isn't a 3bet or fold spot unless you are playing super nitty for whatever reason. When you get hands like suited gappers, suited aces and low pocket pairs is when it becomes a 3bet or fold spot.
