Hero (BTN): $9.74
Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with 9d Td
1 fold, CO raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, SB calls $0.25, BB raises to $1.60, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds
Little scenario... I call because BTN and Sb are calling stations. and then this large 3-bet from a multi-tabler. Although I don't use HUD, It was easy too see that the villain (BB) is 3 betting too often and resteal from bb too often ( in like 50 hands he made about 8 3 bets , mostly when btn or sb opens). He was a multi tabler , playing 6 tables at a time so I would expect him to be rather tight and value orientated, but for me he seemed like a bully making big bets preflop to win the hand right there.
Examples of his plays:
With TT on the btn he opens for less than usual, and postflop is rather passive trying to keep the pot small.
Based on all that I have a gut feeling that he is squeezing with Air or maybe hands that don't want to see many opponents like 77-jj and he will never call 4 bet OOP.
Would do you think can this move be profitable?
I played solid -tight game without fancy moves and pot controlling with good hands like tptk to not commit my full stack. ( but becuase he was a multi tabler he couldn't see this , unless he had HUD stats
How this call and 4 bet looks to you. For me it look like AA or bluff.
