Hand sample: 6

AG: 0.2 but too few hands to really know. Still a decent indicator that he is an extremely passive fish.

Not a big hand sample but he was clearly a fish and was limp calling, every hand, my thoughts on raising were that it would be a good squeeze opportunity as the CO can rarely call, CO was a loose-aggressive decent player.

I thought that the flush draw may be good that's why I called the min-check raise.

Flat, set mining is perfect here. Implied odds make it far better than 3 betting.

You probably have a massive edge on this guy postflop, you also have position and are practically guaranteed to have the fish in if you flat. Raising also seems bad because yhe CO is shortstacked. I try to avoid 3-betting shortstackers especially as light as this.

Gifs aside I think AF is a useless stat even at 1000 hands yet everybody includes it for samples way below this and this 6hand sample just takes the cake. AF is my pet hate.

These are my 5 shortest sessions this month, the number of hands I played and my AF. These are samples from 500-1000 yet my AF can vary from a fairly passive 2.66 to an insane 7.7. Are you really going to base decisions in your hands on this stat? Whether its high or low below 1000 hands is simply how hot someones been running.

As for the hand. I flat preflop 3betting 88 here is horrible.
I check back this flop. I can't see worse calling other than AsQ sorta hands which have 50% equity vs us so isn't really a worse hand.
As played fold the flop.

Don't show results.

What do you hope to accomplish flatting 88 vs. a possible aggro late-position opener with 47 BBs?

Yeah I'm 3betting this all day for stacks vs your typical 50bb aggro reg.

100bbs deep I flat all day, keep the fish in.

As played I also check back flop; we have plenty of safety net with the flush draw, he'll play pretty true to his range on a board like this. We also do NOT want to get raised here and bloat the pot.

oo mixed opinions. Also I do think AG is still useful here even though it is only 6 hands, in the past hands he was check/calling down with complete junk and had nearly 100% vpip. I agree with checking flop though.

Also deco the results are below a spoiler, so if u don't wana see, don't click until you posted your analysis.

the fullstacked fish will likely come along and we have a playable pair otherwise.

Vs a steal I'd be inclined to agree based on the shortstack.
When isolating even the most aggressive shortstacks will have a much tighter range.
