This is one of those calls that are almost always impossible to justify either way. Their are only two obvious reasons he bets this amount here.

1) He hit his flush and is placing a bet that he thinks you will call.

2) He missed the board, but, his read on you is that you will fold to a flush board and give him the benefit of the doubt.

Take your pick. I call becuase I think he would of bet more into this with a made flush. I haven't had the pleasure of playing with Freak, but, I would bet that he is using his image to steal this pot. He knows that you weren't chasing the flush and that the little heart was the scariest card in the deck to hit for you.

That's just my two cents as this hand really could go either way.

Not sure. 1 of 3: hit his set on flop, over pair, or rivered his AK/AQ/AJ hearts flush.

ya AJh+ usually thinks they're ahead here on the flop. i dunno how freak plays combo draws, but folding here isnt out of line

I think you have to call, your getting better than 2-1 and it's about even if you have him beat or not. I don't think you can give up the pot for $3 here. If he has you just pay him off.

With all those draws out I think I would have bet more on the turn though. Probably the pot or a little more.

Stone cold bluff or a big hand. I'd think it would take a lot more info to make a decision here. If he just sat down though, I'd want to call and see what he was calling with preflop.

Why would a flush draw check flop then bet out at blank turn though... Maybe he has a 3? tbh if im beat im thinkin more of a 3 thats afraid of turn getting check.

Id call, i think its a bluff/piece of flop enough times to call the 3$ bet. Freak seems to like making sneaky plays like that

I knew I should fold because the only hands I'm beating are 99-TT-JJ, but curiosity got the better of me. He had AA.
