Reads on Villain #1 - Super nitty player, sits on my left. I have been stealing his blinds and being stupid aggro. If he hits a big hand, he will be slowplaying it against me. When he hits his big hands against other players, he bets about 1/3 of the pot.

Reads on Villain #2 - Fairly weak/passive preflop, weak postflop. Only hand he's shown down was like so:

Villain #2 min raises, Hero 3-bets to 9 bb's, Villain #2 calls. Flop comes out Q83 rainbow, and I c-bet for 2/3 pot. Villain #2 folds showing 44 after using up his whole time bank. So I have reason to believe he views me as overly aggressive or something.

Here's the history:

======================

Villain #1 has 25$
Villain #2 has 6$
Hero has 18$

Hero is dealt :jd4::10c4: on the button.
Villain #1 is in the big blind.

Villain #2 raises to $0.20
Hero re-raises to $0.80
Villain #1 cold-calls $0.80
Villain #2 calls $0.60

Potsize = $2.45

Flop: :jc4: :7s4: :2h4:

Villain #1 checks, Villain #2 checks, Hero checks.

Potsize = $2.45

Turn: :jc4: :7s4: :2h4: :5d4:

Villain #1 bets $0.75, Villain #2 calls, Hero calls.

Potsize = $4.70

River: :jc4: :7s4: :2h4: :5d4: :2c4:

Villain #1 bets $1.35, Villain #2 calls, Hero folds.

======================

Standard? Spewy preflop? Too weak on the flop?

Why 3bet JT against a shortstacked nit preflop?

Postflop is fine, but we should just be folding pre

Villain #2 isn't a nit, he's just weak/passive. He min-raises all kinds of junk, so every so often I solate him in position & c-bet for pretty consistant profit. I'd expect villain #2 to put in a real raise if he had a real hand. Villain #1 in the BB is the nit.

You setup an aggressive image and then the flop hits you and all of a sudden you want to check it down? Bet the flop at least for metagame reasons.

My bad, I got them mixed up. I still don't like 3betting a shortstack light, but it's not spew or anything.

Postflop isn't weak at all, it's probably standard. Guys who are as weak as you say they are generally aren't going to call with worse hands (maybe TT/99, but that's a small part of their range), so there's like no value in betting the flop.

This is 10$ NL, what is metagame? ;)

I don't mind playing transparent as hell because they're not gonna notice. Oh, and the flop didn't hit me all that hard. I still just have top pair weak kicker. And the board is dryer than the sahara desert.
