Why are we 3beting the flop?
Thats basically turning our hand into a bluff,i would much rather either smooth call the raise or fold.
Im also not sure if im c-betting this flop, maybe C/C instead?

Other reads on villain? Not a fan of your flop line, especially if he's raising a lot of flops. You basically took a line that cost you almost half your stack to try and find out where your at, and then folded when it's fairly likely that you could still be ahead.

Yeah definately. Infact as it turned out I was ahead.

What surprised me was the 4-bet. Hadnt seen him do it before. Suddenly I was thinking AK

I think on this flop i am betting half pot or a little more like you. With villians raise i just call and see what turn brings and maybe c/c.

Once you have 3bet him on this flop, I think you have to commit, given your bare read that he r/r flops. There's a lot of draws that are well within his range, your drawing pretty thin to AA, 33, KK, AK and flopped flushes which all seem unlikely combinatorially. I probably call the flop, but that leads us to more difficult decisions on the turn.
