jordanbillie: ?????????????

Should say that I have only played about 10 hands at this table, not really any reads besides pipita28 has been a calling station almost every single hand.

My questions are:

1) Do you like my line so far, specifically raising the flop here?

and

2) Do we have to raise here? Or do we flat because this smells like a open ender that hit on that turn?

yes, you most definitely raise. Line looks great up to here.

QJ is only one of dozens of hands he'll have (almost all of which we have beat) so we go ahead and raise for value.

Line looks good, raise on flop is standard.

2) Do we have to raise here? Or do we flat because this smells like a open ender that hit on that turn?

Hit on the turn? QJ flopped a straight. No draws came in on the turn. If cutoff had a 2 pair+ hand on the turn, they would have raised the turn being able to trap both of you for an extra big bet. If they slowplayed the nuts, they lost a ton of value by check calling the turn. Also, there is no reason to slow play because the board hits a ton of hands in your range and they should expect to get a ton of action if they do have the nuts.

The river is a great card for you as it's unlikely to have helped anyone. This looks more like a blocking bet than anything. There are 0 reasonable hands that beat you here. Raise and call if reraised.

Bet Bigger!!

I despise your line, your making the right actions but my god are you betting small.

*Preflop don't min3bet raise it up to $10!
*On the flop don't minraise raise it upto $12

On the turn we bet $2 into a $16 pot. Why?

We are missing so much value in this hand. When against a calling station bet close to pot every street to extract the most money from them and take away their implied odds to catch up with a sly gutshot.

you definitely need to raise this, the extra value with 2 people in the hand definitely makes it worth while and statistically you're really far ahead especially seeing as you have a calling station and the other guy is probably playing a weaker ace, in FL you really need to keep raising when you've got such a dominate hand, sometimes you'll get burned but most of the time it'll pay off in dividends

WOW! I was that tired that I didn't even realize that!!!!!!!!

Anyway I raised on the river and the 3rd player folded, the bettor called the extra $2 and I win, he mucked A9 for a lower 2 pair.
