Induce bluff from non-flush hand (which you likely beat). Possibly win 1 BB this way, and lose minimum if he has a heart. It's a close decision, but I think getting a river bet raised here is an easy fold (and if he will bluff raise, you really are in a bad position). And you may win a bet from the bluffer with a non-flush.

3-bet flop for value, protection
c/c river to induce bluffs and to get to river cheaper. Not many worse hands will call you at this point, and not many better ones will fold, so ch-c.

or what skold said.

Out of curiousity, what do you think he has?

I think the best line is to bet/call the river, but that's because I think he has two-pair+ on the turn, and then suddenly his chance of having a flush on the river is tiny, and by checking you only allow him the chance of saving a bet when he doesn't have a flush, and gain a bet when he does, which kinda sucks.

a hand like KJ or KT makes the most sense to me.

Would he really b/3b the turn with top pair, jack kicker? I mean, there are players who would, but these players are in the 95th percentile of spewards. Given that he posted UTG (right?), virtually any two-pair combo is likely. So I'm with you on the KT, that's probably my top pick. But that, fortunately for us, makes a flush impossible. :)

That hand converter sucks.

I agree. Poker by mail would be more informative. No stack sizes is worse than no read here for us.

The 4 flush kills you. 3 bet flop looks more like AKo with the Ah to me. Perfectly fits the story, except for the first bet which could be a disguise.

I think you're mistaking this for a NL hand.
