I'm not sure I played this hand terribly or not.

My preflop raise should have been more I think.

Checking the flop was probably a bad idea.

Preflpo raise isn't that bad - when squeezing i normally make it 2x the money in the pot (which would be $1.6), but some ppl do a little less.

Never ever ever ever ever check this flop. The board can never get better for you and villain can almost never improve given the board texture (unlike a 722 board or something, where 2 overs might hit top pair on turn if flop goes check check). Any K or T kills your action (or loses you the hand) so just bet and get it in on the flop. As played 3B and get it in obviously.

- flop check is awful (as said above).

- stacks go in on turn (as said above).

so yeah basically what feitr said.

U have to bet the flop. Villain will almost always hit this flop hard and there are plenty of action killers/cards to outdraw u, u should be geting it in on the flop but not checking back.
Call the turn obvs. villain does this with plenty of draws+2pair hands

bet pot or more on flop and if your opponent calls, after turn bet pot or allin,is pretty hard to have KT...by checking the flop he can have a K or a T and wait for a straight.

Are we to guess the villans hand? when i c them checks then 2 diamonds on board...he may have had suited connect in diamonds ...maybe AK dd looking to improve off his top pair but was affraid of the straight's out there(so he checks to the aggressor)...hard to not put ur chips into the hand when you flop that set and it would be hard 4 me to let go...so you call and hope he's got that flush draw with maybe 910dd looking to spike either the flush or straight with a 8 or K or diamond...but...either way you r still ahead hard to let go but you know he must have a ton of outs against ya...i would call...luck be a lady tonight! spike the Q on the river...lmao
