All I can tell you about this player is that he was Aggressive so much so that he's likely to be called/labeled a Maniac.....

The reason I entered the pot with him was because of the way he was playing, Constantly putting pressure on ppl, and making moves all the time....Are we still good to call here or no? Reasons as to why both ways would be Appreciated btw

Fold pre-flop. You don't want to get involved in a pot OOP with this type of villain with this type of hand. You're much better opening a hand like KT making TP and value towning him.

That said, what else can you do on the river except shove?

And yeah, post in the correct section.

Quit poker. Seriously.

Or at least post your hand analysis threads in the hand analysis forum: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cash-game-hand-analysis-50/

Fair enough I'll post in the correct area for the hand to get looked at properly ok...I don't post in the Analysis thread because I just post in the Cash area, or the Mtt Area but I seriously didn't expect to get all this harsh criticism for for not posting my questions in the correct area, I stand corrected...

Apologies all

Two key comments:

1) You've been here almost as long as I have. In that time period I (and tons of other players) have gone from micros to playing stakes as high as wsop events. You however haven't even learned which forum is the right place to post. This tells me that you don't read what people tell you, or you don't remember it.

Also, you've repeatedly posted in the wrong areas or been making preflop/basic mistakes (limping UTG, w00t!). That lets me know that you're not listening to what other people are telling you. So perhaps we've been sparing the rod too much & spoiling the child.

So yeah, if you were making your 20th post instead of your 2600th, I might respond something like this. But you're not, so you get the wrath. Man up, read up, learn something, then start posting again.

2) My comment about quitting poker was actually pretty serious (or at least keep to small stakes like these). Only about 1 out of 15 poker players are profitable. That means a lot of people are fish. Now if you're willing to learn (see point #1) I'll try to teach you something to put you into that group of the top 7% that actually makes money at this game. But if you've been here for four years and you're still playing $2 NLHE, maybe its time to just accept that you're not cut out to be in the 7% club.

There's nothing wrong with this. Play cards for small stakes for fun, play in the freerolls, entertain yourself and maybe get a free ipod by cashing in your FPP's in the process. But just from looking at the body of your posts so far, playing less might be the best advice anyone could give you.

So if you want to turn over a new leaf and play well, fine. But that involves learning the basics and doing some reading on your own, which will pretty much answer a lot of the questions you're asking right now.

Raise or fold pre. Depending on player types behind you. Raising 98s at 2nl from the HJ is probably not necassary but not a bad play as you move up in stakes.
Fold to turn raise as you beat nothing pretty much
