Fix limit is a game of draws.

Dont fall in love with those top 10 starting hands.

At limit poker when the 3 card of the same suit comes on the board you need to slowdown. It is quite obvious what he has.

People will chase draws will all c..p and they are right to do so. When you see a better draw than yours completing on the river just check. If he had someting like a set he would've just call the irver..

This. Donk/3b river when villian has been betting all the way down will cost you more in the long run since villian will be showing up here with made flushes. (Definitely cost you another bet when villian makes K/A high flush)

Why did you not raise preflop? AK is usually stronger preflop than postflop, so by just calling here you lose a lot of value.

You make money in limit games by making better slim margin decisions than your opponents. Trying to trap with a hand that probably has a significantly better win% preflop means you better be absolutely sure you will on average make more money postflop. Sure, you will frequently just pick up the blinds with a preflop raise. But like I said, you make money with slim margin decisions. Big traps are (usually) for NLHE, PLO, or other non-fixed limit games.

And I don't necessarily agree with the others here. Yes, you should consider the flush as a possible hand, but you are 3-handed here. You don't have many hands on the opponents, but it could be that he is trying to represent a flush to bluff out. You should (almost) never fold to the river raise, but never making that 3-bet is a mistake too.
