Yeah, at fixed limit, premium hand strength diminishes.

Could you please explain why?
Wet flop, fixed limit. You can maybe save a bet by bet/folding the river, but I play it just like you. This hand is pretty standard.

In FLHE you were not able to protect your monster hand preflop because of the bet limitation.

This. At micro/low stakes, on wet boards big pp goes down in value without hitting a set.

You're better off trying to get to showdown cheaply since you're not getting anyone to fold better. Anyone with any piece of the board WILL call you since its just 1 bet.
