0.5/1$ NL HE Full Ring: What is the best card in my favor?

Game: No-limit Hold'em online
Stakes: $0.5/1 9-handed table
I have over 100$. Player in the button over 200$.
The hand is folded around to me in the cut off. I raise to 4$ holding 7s 8s. A good disciplined player in the button calls. Small and big blinds fold.
Flop comes: 4h 3s Jd
I bet 6$ and he calls.

What is the best card that can come on the turn for firing the second barrel?

"A good disciplined player" OTB will be flatting then floating a wide range here if you've been active in the CO. Our range includes hands like AK-AJ, KQ/J, QQ-AA. Although we will play other hands (78s etc.) These are the hands he'll be worried about for the most part. We want cards that improve our range that will fold his range as we're bluffing.

In short a Q, K or A are great cards to double barrel, a 2 isn't.

A, K, Q, another spade, a six. I'd shut down on 5, 2, J, T.

When we double barrel we need to do so either because our fold equity has improved or our pot equity has improved.

I mentioned A/K/Q as great cards that improve our fold equity, C9 has added the cards that improve our pot equity too. Something I forgot about. I like to bluff too much .

I'll also add that thinking about what turn cards we would like to see (or not) as a part of your overall plan for your hand is an important step in improving.
