All in all you might have gotten a little more out of him if you bet more but geting paid of after floping the nuts is allways hards

I like the flop check but I would have bet more on the turn and then more on the river, $.12/$.50

This is 2NL. you may want to shove this flop. Given stack sizes, you only need to be called about 5% of the time to show more profit than the 15 cents you extracted by betting small.

Raise preflop, bet as close to pot on every street as you think he'll call. If villain is a bit too aggressive, you can c/r the turn if you like.

You want all the money going in by the river. And if you bet pot on every street you can accoplish this. But if you bet small, or check then you lose that opportunity. The river bet after 3 previous rounds of potsized bets is where you make the most money.

Also, think about his hand range. Its very unlikely he has a Q or J. He's either got a draw, or a pocket pair. Those hands are going to check behind you if you check to them. So you *must* bet every street to maximize value.

I don't like "inducing bluffs" at 2$NL, because the weakies that play at this level just don't bluff.
